God’s Invitation to You
Each one of us is uniquely called by God to play a part in building the Kingdom. At St. Joseph Catholic Church, we believe that stewardship is our faithful response to that call. It is how we live out our discipleship—by generously offering our lives, time, and talents for the good of others and the glory of God.
Living as Faithful Stewards
True stewardship begins with the understanding that everything we are and everything we have is a gift from God. As followers of Jesus, we are called to live with gratitude, to be faithful to the teachings of the Church, and to participate actively in the sacramental and community life of our parish.
Stewardship means recognizing that we are caretakers—not owners—of our blessings. It is about offering back to God a portion of those blessings, intentionally and joyfully, through prayer, service, and giving. It’s not about having it all—it’s about giving with love, serving with joy, and living with justice.
The Spirit at Work in Us
The Holy Spirit is the source of all generosity. When we accept our lives as pure gift, the Spirit empowers us to use those gifts to proclaim the Gospel and serve one another. The more we give of ourselves in faith, the more our hearts are shaped in the image of Christ.
